Columbia County is farmhouses, barns, and the brick fronts along Warren Street in Hudson. A lot of that glass is original, and original wood sash wants a careful hand rather than a fast one. We hand-clean it, we keep water off the woodwork, and we do not use anything that will lift old paint.

What Columbia County does to your windows
Columbia is the most rural county we cover and the one with the oldest average housing. Restored farmhouses, Greek Revival village houses, barns, and the dense brick commercial fronts along Warren Street in Hudson. A great deal of the glass here predates float glass entirely, and it is worth treating that way.
Warren Street
Hudson packs an unusual amount of retail into a mile: antique dealers, galleries, restaurants, and design shops, most of them in nineteenth-century brick fronts with large display windows.
